to me it's really a simple issue.....Sean is wanting elevating improvement from Jared, Jared is treading water....The guy was picked by the organization and shown the $'s to show the fact. It's simply a fact that Sean sees competition at the position is needed, don't think anyone is calling anyone out...He's a Ram for now.....that's what it is....he's a Ram for now....he didn't say and he'll be one forever....what if he said that and then next season they trade him? How many times do you hear a guy say he's going no where just to be gone in a week, sometimes saying he's going nowhere is a death nail.
It's off season for us fans and we always hand wring about stuff.....no problem with that at all.....It'll be a big time issue only when something happens.....right now I just can't see them getting out from under cap hell by giving him up this coming season...
I am looking at it this way.....a competition between them could afford us a good pair of QB's who can both take on the teams in this league we need to go up against...Injuries happen, we need to have a good 1-2 punch, they could very well be what we need, at least for 2021.
