I appreciate your passion and posts. I look at it from the perspective that I believe Goff is toast in LA not because he can't play but because Coach is done with him for whatever reason - so given that core belief- what do we do?
Can we land Watson? Can we land Stafford? I don't know so I consider the possibilities and only time will tell if this was a master stroke moment or a Warner type @#$%& up or something in between?
That's my biggest fear..... Goff goes on to Indy and ends up winning a Super Bowl and we're trotting out Austin Davis, Case Keenum and the Keith Knull's of the world for the next decade looking to replace what we already had......
If McVay is the QB guru and genius we all think he is, he will figure out how to get that same Goff we saw from 2017-2018
Otherwise he better hope the switch gets us in the Super Bowl before Donald retires
