Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.
Goff was 0-7 with Fisher. Lions coaching has mostly been a disaster
Goff gets the nod on age but IMO Stafford a superior QB and it's not close.
sorry my friend, but I just don't see it.... dude has played 12 years, 8 of those years he had one of the best WR's to ever play the game, they even called the dude Megatron and yet has NEVER won a playoff game.....
gutsy as hell, strong arm....never won anything 0 for 3 in 12 years
Either way I just want to win at the end of the day, and if McVay can swing a deal for another QB it just puts the pressure on him to prove himself right and we better have a Super Bowl appearance at minimum in the next couple years
I keep seeing these names trotted out and have to scratch my head. I like Stafford... just don't see the fairy dust trail some do. Definitely not a "winning" QB. And I also remember the decade after Jim Everett was run out of town. Dark days.
But I very much question if McVay and Goff's relationship can be rehabbed. It's one thing to call me in the office and tell me to step my game up. Quite another to put my review up in the lunch room next to the posting for my job. I just don't understand that move and, IMO, it pretty much precludes any "rehab". There's a lot of pressure for all involved to put a legit team on the field next year, I'm just really questioning how management has chosen to go about it.
