unfortunately we live in reality of the salary cap era and are already paying the mortgage for players we don't even have on our roster(see Gurley)
To try to take on another huge QB contract and still pay the dead money on Goff is just a fantasy land we don't live in right now.....
btw, Rams are expected to be -$27M in cap space this year already......that's insane
our best bet is to get Goff back to where we were in 2017-2018...He has shown the ability in games form this year vs Washington, Tampa, Philly, Arizona, etc...
That is a lot easier than the pipe dream of those other QB's showing up here anytime soon.
