IMO the Rams just don't lose to the Jets or 49ers twice with Minshew. I really believe that. They may not lose to the Hawks in Sea during the regular season with him. I'm not even going to mention the horrific Miami game. When Goff completely fell apart
IMO in those games you only needed a QB with a pulse... and Minshew is more than that
Leaf I absolutely agree with you regarding putting butts in the seats. The Rams absolutely are an afterthought in LA... the national media gives them more love than the fans in LA do. They need a star player at QB
Watson is that - IMO... none of these other solutions at QB we talk about address the Rams lackluster following in Los Angeles. The team is a winning team under McVay and there just isn't any juice for them. Its not just about them winning obviously. They need a star!
You add Watson and that new stadium to go with Ramsey and AD and now you are on to something. Stafford doesn't move the needle like that and certainly bringing in competition for Goff doesn't. Heck adding Watson would even boost Woods and Kupp who I believe (especially Woods) is held back by Goff

I'll admit Minshew impressed up was Wash St.
And, I wasn't at all surprised to see him splash onto the field in the pros.
However, my problem with him is the upside, and the 2021 season.
The base question you posed, and that Goff failed, was can he win tough playoff games, and get the SB?
I'll narrow that question with Minshew replaced in the summing.
Much as I'd like to think that's a "YES" I don't see it.
and it does circle back to the number of years that the Rams expectations are off the charts with AD, Jalen, and that 5 BILLION dollar stadium
For me?
Minshew doesn't sell seats, and will that play upstairs when that gets examined around the executive offices???
