How many QB's have one more games than Goff since 2017?
If you have to bring up 2017 as your strongest argument for a player, it's already a lost cause since that was 4 years ago. Players sometimes get figured out and their upward trajectory stalls.
yeah, god forbid someone brings up good things about Goff
sometimes the QB loses key players(Saffold, Gurley and Cooks to name a few) also which never helps with trajectory....which btw, actually trended up this year
The losing players argument would be very compelling to me if it wasn't for the fact that he had a bad 2nd half in 2018 when he still had Gurley, Cooks, and a pretty good OL.
Something happened with teams figuring out how to limit our offense and he's not been the same player since then. So IMO everything before that point is irrelevant.
