All his Teammates Hopes and Dreams are in his hands, as in the NFL now there is Roster turnover of 20-30% each yr and this group will never be together again and to have a Defense this special and to waste it would be a brutal shame. The odds of it being this great next yr is doubtful. Many of us long long time Rams Fans will then be forced to relive the 70s all over again, so so many of those Great Defenses were wasted. You realize as the yrs go by there are no guarantees the next yr Even all my sons say its a real shame the Rams had all those Great Defenses and players on Defense and didnt get even 1 Ring.
I keep hoping the light turns on again for Goff but it becomes harder to believe it will happen with each additional week. But, we now have a new circumstance that may be a catalyst for him. Not that Wolford is threatening the starting job in any real way, but maybe seeing someone else operate within the system and taking shots that Goff has not been taking will show Goff that those plays are there to be made?
