Wolford seems to trust his WR's to make plays more than Goff.
When Goff is playing poorly he tends to wait until the WR breaks open before passing the ball. This often results in the timing being off and the ball arriving late. I think the intent is to avoid INT's, but instead the receiver has to wait, letting the DB catch up or the DL to put him under pressure. When Goff is playing well, he doesn't do this.
I saw Wolford putting the ball in the air before his WR's were open, allowing them to make a play on the ball.
