I saw Wolford putting the ball in the air before his WR's were open, allowing them to make a play on the ball.
Perhaps, but I didn't see a very accurate passer yesterday. Maybe (and likely) that was because that was his first burn in a real game, but I thought most of his passes weren't where they needed to be (most passes to Everett) or were late (1st qtr. bomb to VJ). Funny how his best pass of the day (requiring Everett to make a play for him) was treated as a hand grenade by the TE.
These comments aren't meant to take a dump on Wolford as I DO believe that he played well (well enough for our defense to win the game for us). But I don't think he was just giving our WR's opportunities to make plays. Most of that was contested receptions due to inaccurate passes.
