And they impressed Boomer, too.
1. Wolford sees the field. Very impressive for a QB in his first start. Very rare.
2. Wolford seemed able to read the D. Again, terribly impressive for a rookie in his first start.
3. Wolford played like he knew he ‘belonged’. Looking off defenders, changing plays at los, progressions, hard counts. I mean, Damn!
And then, of course, his legs. Wow! But we knew about them before kickoff.
Edit: I’ve gotta add his making of quick decisions. Color me impressed.
