Good stuff as usual and I agree.... I have said this before, we have the same QB from 2017-2018, but we don't have the same team anymore..... and exactly what you talk about is happening.... if you notice most of his completions these days are to a receiver who is pretty well covered , like you said , he has to be perfect. He is not as confident as he once was and not as comfortable anymore. McVay made a tough decision to trade away Cooks last year and at the time I agreed with it due to the health issues and his inability to finish a season let alone a game, but I know I regret not replacing his skill set and if McVay was being honest he probably regrets it too. I watch a lot of the All 22 and it is an easy offense to defend most of the time
Can he recover? Of course he can...he's been down before but he always gets back up...he got his head kicked in as a freshman in college and then as a rookie in NFL, but always came back ....not much fazes him.....he is resilient
I just hope we can find a deep threat again and having a healthy Akers for a whole year would be a nice thing too.....
I'm hoping this break no pun intended is just what he needed, and this team also.... it's time for everyone to step their game up!!!
We miss Whitworth.....hope he is back in time for round one the OL hasn't been the same without him. Noteboom im afraid is not the future.
I'm excited for the opportunity the unknown players are going to get this week, Wolford, Van and Xavier...... hope they bring the energy this team seems to be misssing lately
I don't agree about the Ramsey talking to Goff thing.....that's what good teammates do in time like that, He said don't worry about it we got this..unfortunately they didn't as the Hags proceeded to march down the field for the dagger on their last TD. But I thought it was great to see Ramsey let Goff know he's in his corner
Happy New Year!
