As much as I'm ready for someone else to get a shot, Trubisky is an example of a guy looking like he's totally ineffective but finding a way to come back better. With the money the Rams have tied up in Goff, they probably have to take that path. As far as other QB's, I think there are many who would thrive under McVay. I would have no problem with either Stafford or Ryan but don't imagine either happening.
What the Rams should do is gather more information and not jump the gun. Until they see what they have in Wolford, they really can't move forward. If Wolford is viable, you let the bet man win next year between he and Goff. If Wolford looks in over his head then you have to bring in a vet/draft pick to actually compete with Goff. As few picks as we have, I'm hesitant to go that route though unless someone they love falls to them. Don't want to waste a flier on a guy that probably won't play.
