I don't see any of the trades for 1st rounders working out. In fact, the trades of Mack, Tunsil have allowed those teams to rebuild much quicker than expected. Even the Jags are developing a deep team though it is not yet reflected in their record. They will eventually be tough. We have already traded Cooks....wouldnt you be happier with C Ridley or DJ Moore still on a cheap contract? I don't even think Snead's record on mid rd guys is all that great. We have found about the same # of gems as most teams. Same number of misses as well. Just because NE whiffed on Wynn and Atlanta on McGrady doesn't mean we win the Ramsey trade as this article seems to argue. What if we drafted Darius Leonard and Dalton Risner...2 guys taken after the two mentioned. And every week it becomes more apparent that moving up to take Goff was not the right move. Neither was extending him. This is also the GM that traded a 2nd to move up to get T Austin, instead of staying put and taking D Hopkins. Our team has a weak O Line and weak Linebackers with very little depth and upcoming salary issues given a few bloated contracts. Ill never understand the unjustified love for Snead. If you evaluate Snead objectively, its hard to argue he is so wonderful.
