It's the NFL and we have a very good team. Not great. Not dominant. Very good. I posted that thread early in the year.
I voted 11-5 but hold my breath with every possession. Hopeful realism. I'm just a fan. My opinion doesn't make them better or worse. Perhaps we take ourselves too seriously because we care so much?
In sports, politics, and life, I try to keep an open mind about all viewpoints in order to be well informed. I too overreact when they look like dogstuff. I too dream of another Championship when they overcome hardships. Sometimes we see brilliance and ineptitude on the same possession.
Merry Christmas my fellow loyalists. 20 years ago, debates like these were confined to sports bars without half the intelligence displayed here. We dream, celebrate, and suffer together. The eternal offseason would be much more difficult without all of you, from DZ to Zn. Our collective catharsis is healthy (though my wife would disagree). It shouldn't be difficult at all to understand disparate viewpoints even when we disagree.
