I rationalized after the losses to Bills, Dolphins, and 49ers (twice). But after this fubar against the freaking Jets? Can’t rationalize anymore.
I now question everything from McVay to the water boy. The inconsistency is shouting for somebody to fix it! That ‘somebody’ has to be McVay.
Yeah, Rams will almost certainly make the playoffs but we’ll all be holding our breaths until we see which Ram team has shown up each week. Does anybody here seriously believe that this team can show up with the ‘good’ version for 6 consecutive weeks (counting playoffs)? Don’t bet the house on it, y’all.
Stated succinctly, here's how I see the team:
Overall team inconsistency
Awful STs
Overall slightly below average to bad offense
Overall very good defense.
Put that all together and it's hard to envision a prolonged playoff run.
