Starting a last drive at midfield with plenty of time.. and for whatever reason, McVay calls an absolute crap series going for the fame and bright lights of the home run instead of just putting themselves into position for a tie - at least - and THEN going for the throat.. Inexcusable play calls, imo.. If your QB's strengths are 3-5 yard passes, then go with THOSE strengths.. don't all of a sudden expect him to connect on long balls which he hasn't done consistently since the SB year..

..or he could have run the ball, but that's really expecting too much from McVay..
