All good points, and I don't think our season is over if we lose tonight. However, a loss tonight means we're more likely to be heading to Green Bay or NY / Wash. Those will be tough games to win in December weather. Followed by at NO or Green Bay depending on WC results. That's a tough road back to back weeks and a much lower chance of getting to the Super Bowl.
On the flip side, a good game by Jared helps get the SB monkey off his back a little... especially against Belichick.. and will be great for his confidence. We all know the Rams traditionally play well against Seattle / AZ and the Jets SHOULD be an easy win. Having the 2 or 3 seed, along with a ton of confidence for Jared, would go a long way to spring boarding the Rams to a possible Super Bowl appearance.
