To your point, winning out would indicate the Rams found their groove. It would also mean the road to the Super Bowl was a 7 or 8 game winning streak which is possible but not what we have seen from this team this year.
I find the notion that the Saints and Packers will drop enough games to get the first seed a bit too wishful thinking. To me, a #2 seed is something more likely and genuinely plausible. That would have us home unless we reach the NFCC game and the Saints are still alive. Without their crowd, it won't matter.
Other than that, it doesn't matter much. If this team is peaking, healthy, and focused (none of which are givens), it could be our year.
