The thing some have brought up that SF had two weeks for this game and the Rams 6 days is fair. They STILL should have won. But....fair point worth mentioning...
I guess part of what I was trying to point out above is that when Goff was at the top of his game (2017-2018) he STILL had bad games 20% of the time. I would guess that is the case for pretty much all good QBs. In 2019 and 2020 it's been 30%. So instead of 5 bad games in his past 27 starts he's had 8. Not insurmountable at all. But not acceptable either.
Small difference? Big? I don't know. Seems like the past two seasons when he is bad he's REALLY BAD. Maybe that's not unusual either. I don't know. I'd have to look at game logs for everyone else and don;t have that time...
