That guy is not the final word on Goff. He's just another guy with an opinion. The internet is filled with them.
Goff put the offense on his back, threw 51 passes against a top tier defense, and with no running game completed 39 of them. He made some mistakes, but with the game tied he led a game winning drive for the final FG. And he outplayed Brady.
I'm glad to see Brady fail. Period.
But the fact that Goff outplayed Brady doesn't necessarily mean much because Brady played like crap. He had 2 HORRIBLE ints - nothing at all like JG's - and absolutely should have had a third (looking at you, JJ). And, we know, fumbled in the endzone. And it's not like he was awesome otherwise. I expect Jared to do better than *that*.
But your highlighted part? EXACTLY. And it's his coach, not the defense, who stopped him from doing even better on that final scoring drive.
