head to head is not a great comp despite the fact it is all you have to work with and I get that.
Murray is playing in a system he played in College with the same HC add to that the fact that the Card utilizes his playmaking ability as a runner to attack defenses differently than Goff. Speaking of the head to head Murray has yet to beat Goff. More importantly, Goff has most recently swept the Cards and isn't that really the measuring stick, Team wins?
We are not getting Joe Montana as our QB nor are we getting John Elway etc. How many teams have that caliber of QB? Murray is the new breed and is certainly a desirable talent but not sure he will win more games than Goff this year or in his career. So there is that. He has fewer wins over the same period with arguably a top 3 WR in the league and a HOF WR and they have a nice RB tandem so I am not ready to crown Kyler Murray just to prove that Rams have some handicap at QB. Our 5th yr QB also has Playoff Experience and helped us get to a Superbowl playing within his own limits and skillset.
BTW I expect us to win more games than the Cards and at least split with them but keeping in mind our history I expect us to win both games and my suggestion of less wins will be totally accurate to include this year.
