The Dolphins would not have run the defense against us that they did
If they did over rush, Goff would just run away and have an open field. In fact, one of the things I wish Goff would have done at least a few times, was run away from the pressure and get around the edge.
If you can beat them with a QB run (empty backfield and run your WRs wide) there is a lot of opportunity, thus the over 100 yards running by Murray.
Once you burn them, they cannot go zero anymore so now you have time to throw.
Murray can beat a zero coverage rush with his legs, Goff should be able to with his arm (arm takes help as the receiver needs to be on the same page, where as QB run does not take coordination so it can happen form day one)
The hope is Goff and McVay get this part of his game fixed ASAP, I think it is possible, but we shall see.
Exactly! Well said Sir!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
