here’s what you need to know
as soon as the Rams hit the firmer part of their schedule they started losing
we said after the Skins game that SF, Chic, and Miami who represented an uptick in the schedule would tell us a lot about the Rams
in those games the Rams oline continued to play well, they still ran the ball well and their defense overall consistently was strong
in those games including Chicago a game where Goff’s QB rating was artificially high, the Qb struggled with the following
1) accuracy on short and deep ball
2) switching between the quick pass and more traditional pass game
3) plays poorly under pressure something that is obvious to just about everyone
4) last week for whatever reason totally collapsed. It is the 6th time as a QB under McVay that he has had a collapse game. Not a bad game but game where he completely falls apart.
People want to say other parts of the Rams lost the games against SF and Miami. And I say no - the problem in both of those games was the QB. There is no way the Rams lose those games with good games from the QB. With everything else staying the same in those games there is no way a QB that just plays solid in either SF or Miami game the Rams don’t win
And these teams keep telling us what they think the weakness of the Rams offense is. People just keep ignoring it.
Miami showed what they thought of Goff and vocalized it. SF has done the same previously. Attack him and he crumbles
