I agree. He probably doesn't see rushers as well. But Jackson is obviously a much better athlete overall and part of that is sensing what's around him in ways 98% of QBs do not.
But I also don't buy the argument Goff just can't sense pressure at all. He'd get sacked WAY more than he does if that's the case. I do think, though (and maybe I'm wrong) that most of his sack fumbles seem to come from the right side. So maybe there is something to it.
I also just wonder how much this issue is 'amplified' by the fumble and TD. If he was "just" sacked on that play and held onto the ball is the discussion this extensive? Just speculating. It was a terrible game for him and the offense regardless but just a sack there and the Rams kick a short FG and go up 10-7.
