They gave the kid a chance, not only the six games, but, really, there was only one kick - 53 yds into the wind at Buffalo - he might not be expected to make. And no crazy high-pressure kicks.
Too many solid unemployed kickers to hang onto one who's consistently underwhelming and has no history of performing at a professional level.
