Well, he certainly didn't help us against the 49ers.
MamaRAMa and droopy mentioned this in the GTF but the more I think about it the more my blood boils.
If Sloman had made the extra point it would have been 21-10 when the Rams had 4th and goal at the 2. At that score you kick the FG and make it an 8 point game. (And I know I'm giving Sloman the benefit of the doubt on that FG ...)
As it was, being 21-9, the Rams needed two TDs ... so they go for it and throw an int. 21-9 instead of 21-13 is a huge difference at that point of the game.
