Max, I don't do the "one game tells all" thing. I think that's entirely an emotional thing and has nothing to do with real analysis.
And Goff aside. I picked on one particular phrase--the 9ers presumably "terrible" secondary. Well it wasn't and isn't. That's now what happened and what happened was abundantly visible--their CBs handled Kupp and Woods all night, to the point where the announcers were enshrining them.

on the disturbing thing, thats a sensitivity reaction, some people will be disturbed easier than others. I agree that it will be to a higher degree if he has more of these type of games.
And I wasn't saying anything about 9ers secondary. They are good. But Goff still missed wide open guys, thats my argument.
We are in agreement that Goff had a bad game. Looking forward to see how he responds the next 2 games before the bye against 2 winning teams.

Though interestingly the OL actually had a good game. SF is 5th in the league in pressures. But there was very little pressure.
