All that may be true, but what was disturbing was Goff not under much pressure and he was bad.
Anyone know the number of pressures on Goff last night? Fewer than 7 or whatever the magic number is?
The hope is that it was an off night for Goff and he will bounce back against the Bears. Odds are he will see more pressure from Chicago, how will he respond?
This is his 5th year, he shouldn’t look jittery in the pocket at this point.
Yeah Goff had an off game.
That is not "disturbing." What would be "disturbing" is if he had
several off games.
Max, I don't do the "one game tells all" thing. I think that's entirely an emotional thing and has nothing to do with real analysis.
And Goff aside. I picked on one particular phrase--the 9ers presumably "terrible" secondary. Well it wasn't and isn't. That's now what happened and what happened was abundantly visible--their CBs handled Kupp and Woods all night, to the point where the announcers were enshrining them.
