but to me the game has adapted enough because of fantastic DB's that the days of 'burners' while not be 'gone' have diminished... hence the reason Kupp, and others like him, who 'earn' their clearance by more than being fleet of foot, are getting what seems to me to be more attention with the 'deep ball'.
But that really doesn't pertain to your question about stretching the field. And IMHO that's one GREAT question. I've already posted about why I think that might be... won't repeat myself here... or even offer another possible explanation.... only wish to say... I think they CAN... and simply are NOT. For good reason or bad it is what it is.
