Goff will never get the credit he deserves for improving his game in the eyes of the media. They labeled him a bust early on and Mcvay gets any and all credit for Goffs improved play.
Even Warner, who came out of nowhere during our Super Bowl run, got more credit for being a great QB while playing under Martz. I dont recall the media saying this stock clerk is merely a system QB at any point during that time.
Only once Goff is not coached by Mcvay will he finally start to get the credit he deserves, IMO.
