at one point while Simms was talking about Goff he reluctantly gave him credit and said something to the effect that Goff made a couple of off schedule throws and a couple of times made plays other than when his 1st read wasn’t open (or some variation of that)
so that comes off as hating but it’s something I hear a ton about Goff... why?
what is he putting on film to make someone like Phil Simm be so reluctant to give him credit and want to give it to McVay and his scheme?
he did say Goff seemed to mature and inevitably when McVays scheme is figured or has a bad day Goff will be better able to carry the Rams offense
that point is something that I’d like to see
