I am very suprised too. But I told my son I hope favortism isnt involved here with Sloman going to the same College as McVay and being a later Draft Pick etc. I also told him every camp there is a suprise cut, is this one of them. I hope they evaluated well and he had the best numbers and that is the only reason Sloman got it, I Pro Sports you better go with who was best or it will bite you in the rear. But unfortunately Pro Teams dont always go with the best player sometimes as we learn as longtime sports Fans. Please dont be Nelson or McLaughlin.
