Hendy didn’t come close to meeting expectations last year. It only made sense to re-evaluate the RB room after Gurley’s departure and watching a struggling Hendy.

They drafted DH as a complementary back for Gurley. So it was always 2 backs. With Gurley gone they drafted Akers obviously. Still 2 backs. Well 3 since Brown fits in there.
Either way, with DH and Akers in 2020, they could have 2 good backs (which is what I think) and my response to that is, yay.
DH was held back last year due to nagging little injuries and they say playbook issues too (and I tend to believe that). If he's good to go now and Akers is as promised, then, as I said...yay.
