Rampage2K-
are you kidding??? ever hear of Georgia Frontiere? ask the people of St Louis how they feel about Stan K?
Yes individual owners can be disliked for their character or actions. Same with some individual players, like Albert Haynesworth.
That's not what I am talking about. It has nothing to do with individual personalities and liking or disliking this or that person.
I am talking about a situation where management and players are in negotiations and we automatically hear from some about how the players are all wrong, and their issues are made fun of, and meanwhile management demands or positions are just simply given a pass and treated as if they were just natural and unquestionable. Heck I don't know how many people I've read who STILL refer to the 2011 player's strike when actually--that was a lockout. So we get "hah the millionaire doesn't want to play pre-season games" and not "hah the billionaire wants to milk some money off of meaningless preseason games during a pandemic."
How do I see it? To me, the objective truth is they are just two sides in negotiations and both sides have interests and issues. I don't "blame" either players or management.
