Re: Worford is 28

June 03, 2020 03:53AM
The only reason I can think not to sign Worford (or any FA for that matter) to a long term deal is the Rams already have plans for the available cap money next year and beyond.

Ramsey, Kupp, and JJ are all FAs next season and right now the Rams have enough room to sign all three if they want to. (Not saying they will - just saying they can). If they sign Worford long term his cap hit next season might force the Rams to part with one of those guys, and as things stand today I wouldn't want to sacrifice any of the three just to sign Worford long term.

Nope. A not really good player or good fit isn't a good idea.

You’re talking about Larry Warford, right?

Why do we assume an older player will mentor a younger one?
