I was listening to a podcast where they discuss Cam. He averaged a respectable 4.9 yards per carry but 3.9 of those were after contact! That's insane and it bodes well for him in the pros.
Henderson has the record for 1st and 2nd highest Yards after contact since PFF started tracking college players.

Hendy’s college stats are all fine and dandy. But how about his NFL stats? THAT’S really all that matters now.
Several counterpoints.
1) It's not like you to be pessimistic on a Rams player at all and certainly not after 1 season. The Rams don't judge after 1 season and neither do I. Frankly, I'm surprised you are. It definitely doesn't seem consistent with your normal modus operandi.
2) The Rams had the worst OL last year in the league!
3) If someone brings up college for a reason why Akers will be so good, it's highly relevant what Hendo did in the same metric 2 years ago. It's just as easy to say Akers' college stats are all fine and dandy too.
4) If NFL stats are ALL that matter, then the fact that Akers hasn't done anything in the NFL should be used against him. At this point, neither player is proven in the NFL.
5) The context for posting this metric was in whether Akers was the superior tackle breaker. He was NOT per the PFF metric the poster used. That's not a debatable fact!
It’s not so much that I’m pessimistic about Hendy, dz. More like I consider him unproven at a critical position for this O? And RB is a position that is normally among the easiest for rookies to come in and quickly shine. Obviously, I’m really pulling hard for him but he’s gotta win me over on the field.
Rams late season OL was nowhere near the worst in the league. Around 20th or so, I think I read.
Akers needs to prove himself at the NFL level, of course. Thing is, Akers hasn’t had his chance yet whereas Hendy had his chance and failed to impress. Not a fair comparison on your part.
As to which is the superior tackle breaker? Get back to me in 9 months after we see them taking real NFL snaps. Personally, I suspect that both will excel in that area.
