So just my ideas, but I really like it...... here's why.

McCoy was a pretty decent C in his first year. Ruiz can play C or G in some projections both at a high level.

So Ruiz becomes LG and the line is good! Ruiz is working with McCoy and the rest of the line and if McCoy is injured, Ruiz slides across. The calls should be similar as there been working together already as a group just the new LG.

I guess it's like the Rams do it wanting their lineman to be multiple(to steal a Snead term) in terms of position.
