I wanted Dobbins too, but the more I watch and read about Cam and why he's a better fit for the Rams the more I like the pick.....
The other top 4 RB's all had amazing talent around them and really good O-lines.....Cam on the other hand was the only player drafted from Florida St.
I liked Dobbins, but I'm gonna defer to McVay on who was the better choice and the type of back that best fits his system
So what happens if McVay got it wrong and you got it right?
Gonna be impossible to ever know unless you had a time machine to go back and switch them out in five years and put Dobbins on Rams and Cam on Ravens
Ravens have one of the best run blocking lines in the NFL along with a running threat at QB, so any RB has an advantage in that offense imoI have a feeling though that the Rams o-line will look much better in 2020 with more experience and some fresh young legs at RB
It'd take a pretty mediocre back not to look good in Baltimore behind that line and next to Jackson. Weddle said he was guessing who had the ball half the time (paraphrase). I'm thinking he wasn't the only one.
What Dobbins does in Baltimore will tell me nothing about whether he or Akers would be the better fit in LA. I just hope that a good/great back (Akers) LOOKS the part in LA.
