Suh-weet!
If #1 happens, it'll be because Henderson is as good as I think he is - and stayed healthy. That'd be awesome.
#2 is unlikely. Reynolds could earn more playing time, but not mainly because of development and familiarity. From all we hear, Jefferson is like Kupp. Kupp came in and picked up the offers VERY quickly; I expect Jefferson to do the same. If, by midseason, a healthy Jefferson isn't earning snaps, then Reynolds has blown up and/or the O as a whole is smokin', in which case: ALL GOOD! Course, if it's because Jefferson's strengths don't translate, that'll be disappointing, especially in light of the other WRs they might have chosen.
#3. See #s 1 and 2. AND there's so much to learn about how Staley will use him. But bottom line is that if the guys ahead of him, and the defense overall, are rocking it, no problem. If he's struggling when he gets his opportunities...
#4 If this general picture holds at the end of their 2nd year, different story.
I like your rationale on #1. If Akers and Henderson are both producing we'll have a dynamic running game.
On #2, I won't consider it a failure if Jefferson doesn't unseat Reynolds by midseason. According to the report yesterday, the Rams are really high on Reynolds. That lines up with what they said on why they were comfortable trading Cooks. I'd see the pick as them preparing for what could happen next year when both Kupp and Reynolds are free agents.
Agreed on #3. That's the goal! I think Burgess will get plenty of playing time this year; I just don't think he'll end up starting and I'm fine with that.
Agreed on #4. They should all be big contributors in their 2nd year.
