Now, that is a guy that was stuck behind great WRs but could play as a #1 and #2.
Because when Bruce or Holt were out, he played like a 1000 yard receiver level. In fact, his stats when he played as a started were unbelievable, and projected to unbelievable numbers like 1200 yards and 10+ tds etc.
I just see Reynolds as a utility guy. He never dominated like a Kevin Curtis did when he got chances and Reynolds has had plenty of chances with Kupp out and Cooks out.
Curtis went onto being a very good WR with the Eagles when he got his chance with like 1100 yards before he got cancer which basically ended his career. I would be shocked if that happens with Reynolds.
Reynolds has been so hyped on this board for playing at a level that you could throw a random pick at rounds 3 - 5 this year and that player could do the same most likely. Fans act like he is like a pro bowl player and he is actually a solid #4 guy. Hence, the overrated label fits.
Kevin Curtis
I get that you liked him and he had some good games but to say that he went on to be a very good receiver with the Eagles is just your opinion. He didn't dominate games (a couple of good games doesn't make him a dominant receiver). He had one good year with the Eagles (77 rec 1110 yards) but proved he couldn't stay healthy for a couple of years before the testicular cancer. He had a comeback after the cancer treatment but kept being cut if I remember correctly. He did have great speed 4.35 guy!
