Folks on this board now have him up in the caliber of Cooks, Woods, and Kupp.
say he didn't get chances. He played almost a full season when Kupp got injured and was competent but not great. Actually not even good.
Is there a chance he could get better if he is the guy from camp going on forward? I guess, but not likely.
I point to the superbowl where the Patriots won 13-3 against a high powered Rams with the absence of Kupp being very noticeable in that game. In the meantime, the Patriots counterpart of Kupp made plays that changed the game. We saw this year when the absence of Cooks also impacted the Rams.
I feel settling for Reynolds is a mistake and have results that I refer back for that conclusion. Add a 3rd speed guy through the draft to replace Cooks and clear out space for Kupp and Woods.
He's probably one of the least hyped players on the entire team.....he's our #4 WR stuck behind three pro bowl WR's
How is he even close to overrated??? He was far from the issue in the Super Bowl and was part of a successful offense that got us to a Super Bowl after Kupp went down.
The o-line and Gurley injury along with Bellicheats defense is what killed us in the Super Bowl.
Although having Kupp would have been very helpful, it's hard to ask Reynolds to step in and be an instant substitute for Kupp, it's not like Reynolds replaced his slot position
He is far from "overrated" he is a very solid WR who I can't remember ever dropping a pass.... If given a bigger role, he could be a 1000 yard WR with health
Having said all of that....I still want the Rams to draft one of these stud WR's in this years draft as they say it is a historic WR draft class.
