Ramsey is the best or 2nd best CB in the NFL.
Rams have 2 players on defense that are the BEST in the entire league at their position. I think the Rams just wanted to pay top dollar to talent that was really worth the money. And, hypothetically, the cost is really one extra #1 draft pick - not two -

......if you consider that if Ramsey were available in this 2020 draft and the Rams(had both #1 picks still) they could draft him in the 1st - they would...even if they traded next year's first to trade up to #4 and draft Ramsey....they would....except he'd be an unknown commodity.
But because the Rams traded for him after 3 yrs in the NFL they knew exactly what they were getting...he was a proven talent.
The Ramsey trade was a very good one. imo
