I agree with Rampage
BTW, the Rams allowed the fewest sacks in the NFL
Hmmm
Can interpret that a lot of ways, but for sure it was well in evidence as we played the last game in the Coliseum
Someone with better OL analysis ought to tell us what happened on the 20 carries by Gurley on Sunday.
From my seat, Gurley was on the ground instantly on every carry in the first half.
It was a crazy sight.
For me, that was the line. They were getting chewed up on the interior. How many times were there losses of 3-5 yards on a carry?
Meanwhile, in pass pro? They were NFL grade fine.
Odd results, and the line has to be addressed.
Caught DeMarco Farr on radio talking about the issue on Sunday. He said they need to create a beast at Guard. His exacts words. BEAST. Something to eclipse Roger Saffold. Also, his reference. Some chatter about not being effective on offense, in turn leaving the defense on the field too long, and wearing that group down, but Farr returned to that need to have an exceptional Guard.
And before folks beat up on Jared.
Goff throws the ball when on the run as well as any QB not named Mahomes, Brees, or Rodgers.
It seems the elite passes I've seen this kid has thrown have no value to some on the board.
To wit, a throw to Kupp this game had to have that "up - down" trajectory. One of things that one hears about that is far harder to get that trajectory right.
Would I like to see better long balls? You bet
Did we see any long TD passes to Woods this year?
In fact, did we see the kid hit any broken coverage TDs this year?
So, sure there's always room to get better at stuff.
This reminds so much of the Marc Bulger Debates that raged. He had no OL, and he got annihilated.
Gurley concerns me.
