Ramsey's assignment was playing trail position....and his execution was poor.
How far are you allowed to be trailing and it be ok? 8 yards, 10 yards? He was 5 yards and in no position to help on the deep ball even though it was under thrown....and I doubt he would have been in good position to defend the curl or comeback either because he was so far behind he was running full speed to catch up and it would have been difficult to transition to making a play on the ball if Sanders had stopped. He probably would have run right through him for a PI.
Rapp blew the assignment and Ramsey played it sloppy and was in no position to make up for Rapp's mistake.
Under those circumstances Ramsey shouldn't be throwing anybody under the bus.
