My boys and I stepped in it after we visited the Battleship Iowa, the day before the Saints game. Cannot recall the beach but there was a nice park / picnic area close by. A wind surfer laughed at me and said the water was actually warmer than usual. We only saw mostly the Western half of L.A. We were not there long at all to have a REAL opinion. But from what I saw, it was not much different from several other big cities I have been to. I was just thrilled to finally see the old Coliseum......and a HUGE win over the Saints!
