and his ability to elevate an oline because of his ability to read presnap and to get rid of the ball quickly
there were others that could do that too. Kurt Warner was one of them with the Rams and his astonishing run with the Cards leading that team to the SB with a horrible oline and no run game and the worst defense to ever make it to a SB.
So some QBs can make the oline better. After 4 years we know Goff isn’t one of those. Some QBs just dont play well with pressure but the margin in which Goff plays so poorly when the level of opponent is very good or better is alarming IMO. I mean his performance against Dallas for example. I watched the game again and the Rams oline held up well in pass protection but as a few people say a couple of early pressures appeared to have gotten in his head and he never recovered.
I’m not sure if McVay coddling at the los means it’s slowed his development or Goff just isn’t good at it. I’m leaning that it’s Goff
