Good that you added some context to your view on Edwards. That’s what was talking about. Appears that there are different evals on his feet being good enough to play LT. And I agree that he’s a better candidate for LT than Havenstein is. And maybe the shorter arms thing is an issue. We’ll see.
And if we want to get into the being right thing, I’d rather stick with philosophical views such as why you don’t need first round picks to rebuild an OL. I posted that weeks ago, at your bequest if I recall correctly. Snead was on a podcast recently saying it’s good to get to see these young guys play so we know how to work the draft next year. That’s another benefit to sitting Havenstein.

And I have always been in the "don't need #1 picks for OL" camp.
As a reminder, something I always say--Kromer's superbowl OL in New Orleans consisted of one 2nd round pick, 2 4ths, and 5ths. It was one of the best OLs of its time.
