I think Evans is starting at either OT spot next year. He has proven enough to be a starter. I think it would be hard to walk that one back. Like I said in a response to 79, I think if Havs is on this team (and right now, I don't see how he isn't) I think Evans may go LT, Note stays at LG, and its Edwards and Havs on the right side.
I believe Noteboom's natural position is OT, but his injury uncertainty and Evans emergence may keep Note inside for at least another year.
I think the OL is in pretty decent shape for next season, esp at the OT spot where you have potentially 4 guys fighting for 2 spots. Evans and Havs are for sure OTs, Noteboom should be a OT, but can move inside, and Edwards could possibly be a OT.
I don't buy into the Edwards is a OT thought process, but ZN does, and for as much as we disagree and argue, I immensely respect his opinion and knowledge, even if I never publicly admit it. I tend to think Edwards arm length keeps him inside, but he was an OT in college so its not like he can't.
I'd take Blythe and Whit out of the equation unless blythe comes back on the cheap. Who knows., but he'd be my starting OC if he did.
But overall, you have: OT - Havs, Evans, Noteboom and maybe Edwards
OG - Noteboom, Edwards, Corbett
OC - Allen, Corbett
So there are plenty of movable pieces, but it could work. I would personally add a rookie OC in the 2nd round and a OG later in the draft and maybe look at a cheap vet LG for some veteran presence on that side of the line.
Happy Holidays to you and yours Max.
