The main problem, Speed, is that people are too quick to make up their minds about players and they are mostly people who don't have the knowledge to do so. It starts with the idiot portion of the sports media, and, unfortunately, most fans don't know what to do with the information they get from these sources.

Then, a player changes teams and what do you know? It's, 'Hey, this guy is pretty good!'
