I think at the very least, Edwards is a find, and both NB and Evans will turn out well. I don''t even write off Allen.
They may not have hit the 2019 target for building a line, but I really believe a lot of that is because the 2 OTs slipped. I don't even think keeping Saffold would have made that much difference.
But going into 2020, they can not only acquire new players--draft picks, UDFAs, maybe a high market FA, "ronin" and cast-offs---they already have a strong set of guys already with the team.
I don't think they will do very well the rest of this season, but this is not like 2011 when you looked and basically they had Saffold plus nothing.
